It's Ludachristmas!

We got to spend a good solid week with out families at Christmas. Memorable moments include playing Scene It? Seinfeld Edition (which is really just a platform for my dad and sister to show off their uncanny knowledge of the show, and waiting in line in the freezing cold for HOURS to ride the train through the zoo (this is where I was reminded that ALL*STARS are not real shoes--not even a little bit. Something thick and cushioned would have been preferable). My feet thawed quickly over soup and breadsticks at the Olive Garden.

My SIL suggested we do this little craft:
You can go HERE for a little tutorial on freezer paper stencil painting.

Frosting cookies was so stinking hard. But I think that was only because we are such perfectionists.

Being home for Christmas was amazing and we are
so grateful to have such generous and caring families!

Too much food and so much love.

Birthday!

S'mores waffles and a Kindle Touch?

Someone probably should have told him not to set the bar so high so early.

Am I right?

These Kindles are amazing. Did you know you can check out eBooks from the library and download them without even going to the library?? How have I gone this long without one? Not to mention I can merely tap a word and a dictionary definition pops up.
Sadly, that morning was the only time I got to spend with the Mister as Terrible Tuesdays are the busiest for both of us. But maybe playing with my new toy and scouring Etsy for the most adorable Kindle cover ever made it a little less painful.
